Toxic Love is a proposal for the Newtown Metals Corp/Frito Lay toxic site at Meadows street and Morgan avenue in Bushwick, Brooklyn. The land has been declared a Brownfield site by the EPA, meaning the expansion, redevelopment, or reuse of the site may be complicated by the presence or potential presence of a hazardous substance, pollutant or contaminant. I would like to grow a corn field on the site with the goal of spelling out a lost lover's name in a crop-circle like formation. The name will be revealed upon completion of the project and function as a calling card.
